How EduPanda handles learning data.

EduPanda stores only the information needed to provide the service, protect accounts, support learning, and improve the product. Student and family data is treated as private account data.

Information we collect

  • Account and login details such as email address and verification-code session state.
  • Student and parent profile details provided during onboarding or in Admin Center.
  • Learning activity such as chat history, Study Hub progress, Quiz Bank items, Saved Notes, points, and Knowledge Base activity.
  • Uploaded study materials and generated outputs when a user chooses to use Knowledge Base or related tools.
  • Technical logs such as timestamps, feature usage, errors, device/browser details, and security events.

How we use information

  • Provide the EduPanda learning experience and keep account data available to the right signed-in account.
  • Help students review their own activity and learning progress.
  • Protect the service from abuse, debug errors, and improve reliability.
  • Improve product quality using usage patterns, errors, and safe learning metadata.

AI and third-party services

EduPanda runs on trusted infrastructure providers such as Vercel, Railway, Supabase, and AI model providers configured for the product. Content sent to AI providers may be processed to generate responses. We avoid exposing API keys, secrets, verification codes, and unrelated account data.

Data deletion

Users can request deletion or use the in-app Delete Account flow where available. Deletion removes the login plus associated account/profile data, students, points, notifications, provider settings, saved secrets, and supported account-scoped product data.

Children and guardians

EduPanda is designed for student learning with parent/guardian involvement. If a student is under the age required by local law to consent alone, a parent or guardian should review and approve use of the service.
